TWO TICKETS ARE NOW AVAILABLE!!!

I was so disappointed that I didn't get to share this silly picture of me showing off my new Book Fiesta 3 t-shirt and a copy of @bookartstudios Re: Create, but now I have the perfect reason.

TWO tickets just opened up to spend the weekend (October 24-25) with Liz Constable (and me), exploring teeny tiny shadowbox collections in Book Fiesta 3: The Curios Collection at my cozy little studio in Tewksbury, MA.

The details are available via the workshop link in my bio, but please DM me with your email address if you're interested.

There's a running joke that no one in my family ever knows what I'm up to or how to explain what I'm doing. I guess I like to keep things interesting!

I've got some cool stuff happening, so I figured I'd share what I've been up to. And why.

And, yes, it involves @xtool.official. While I was trying to integrate new tools into the studio, they gave me an opportunity to connect with others in a way that aligns with my mission and values!

Some days I come into the studio and stare at my computer screen, trying to figure out what I want to do, usually due to an overabundance of choices. And some days, like today, I decide to take on the world.

There is carrageenan resting and paints coming to room temp so I can make sample pics for a marbling class, the UV printer is doing the rest of my door signs, the xTool F2 Ultra UV is engraving a glass pendant, and I'm learning how to print and cut shrink plastic on the xTool M2 and bake it in the Wonderpress.

Just about to marble on canvas pouches and pencils for examples of my last-minute back-to-school activity. I think I may also engrave their names on the pencils and maybe have them make shrink plastic charms to use as zipper pulls. Sounds like a fun afternoon to me, anyway!

Shout out to my fellow #ADHDArtists. Are you having a productive day or a can't-decide kind of day?

If you're there this week, pop by and see me at the @xtool.official area. You can see the M2, the new Omni O1 UV printer, the Wonderpress, and the rest if the lineup!

The Upcycle Challenge today was a delight! The mystery items were fringed Christmas trees, which I forgot to take a picture of... But each participant brought something special to the event and our judges had a hard time choosing a winner. Everyone embraced the spirit of the event! In the end, Quinn won with her flapper girl doll. The judges appreciated that she used a variety of techniques, including hand-sewn legs, but she also managed to "transform" her item without really changing the structure. But Carrie did a full transformation with her Paris fascinator. Jodi honored a friend with an ocean-themed makeover. And Dawn had the most creative use of materials with flowers for hair and a dog costume for the body structure!

Huge thanks to the winners and to our guest judges @nikkis_rabbit_hole, @makesharerepeat and @lethes.bramble! Can't wait to do it again.

Yesterday's Ecoprinted Accordion Book workshop was so much fun. We decided to print more, so we never finished our books. 🤣 That's OK. We roll with our participants and, hey, I didn't want to stop, either!

Definitely going to have to add a day-long ecoprinted paper workshop in the fall so there's more time to experiment.

Remember the tea water I shared yesterday? If I didn't need to clean up for a workshop tonight, I'd still be dyeing with it right now. I am IN LOVE. I feel like a #rustandtea workshop my be in the future.
